Our team has a combined 30 years of experience at leading financial institutions like Citi, BNP Paribas, Shopify, and Klarna, building, shipping, and navigating the systems that power the modern finance industry. We launched We Build Products to introduce a better way of delivering compliance technology to banks and fintechs.
Why we started
We saw how it works on the inside. We knew it could be better.
Between us, we have spent over 30 years at places like Citi, BNP Paribas, Akbank, Shopify, and Klarna. We have seen how platforms really get built at these companies. Some of it was great. A lot of it was not.
We watched vendors sell bloated systems that looked good in procurement but fell apart in production. We sat through 18-month projects that shipped the wrong thing. We saw compliance teams scrambling to patch platforms that nobody designed with regulators in mind.
